| This is a tasteful and comfortable conversion of a traditional
Provencal farmhouse. Built on the site of Roman Villa, with an arched courtyard.
There are lovely panoramic views of the nearby mountains and the medieval
village of Manas. The atmosphere is restful and friendly and with the shady gardens and extensive
grounds, there is plenty of space to sit quietly, play boules or just sip a
glass of wine in the shade of the lime tree. The calm and beauty of the Drôme Provençale region has recently been
acclaimed in the Sunday Times, where it was voted the second most desirable
holiday destination, the first being Australia - a little more expensive to
reach! Apart from the magnificent scenery, the delightful wines, the delicious
food and the warm welcome from the locals, there are many historic Roman and
medieval sites to visit nearby.
